Ladies and Gentlemen,
There is excellent news regarding the2023 years’ award by our Deputy Colonel-in-Chief of his medal – The Duke of Kent Medal. The Regimental Council and the Trustees of our Museum are delighted that Captain (Retd) Rory Maclachlan has been recognised for his service to our Museum which began in 1995. He also chairs the Directors of the Regimental and Museum Shop which is one of the bedrocks of the non-public funds that the Regiment can spend on our soldiers, whether they be serving or retired.
